INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

For Perennial Grasses, Broad Leaved weeds and other woody weeds (e.g. Brambles). 1 x 100ml treats 66m2. Rootblast Concentrated Weedkiller is a systemic total herbicide containing glyphosate. Following application to cut stumps or foliage it is distributed throughout the plant and down to the roots. Rootblast Concentrated Weedkiller is a non-selective weed killer avoid, all contact with wanted plants.

METHOD

For larger trees and shrubs use Rootblast Concentrated Weedkiller by cutting and stump treatment. For smaller shrubs and woody weeds (such as brambles) below 1 metre in height cutting is not always necessary and Rootblast Concentrated Weedkiller can be diluted and applied as an overspray. For other annual and perennial weeds apply Rootblast Concentrated Weedkiller as an overspray. Stump Applications (Ready to Use): Stump application should be made in November to March, to avoid application when the tree sap is rising. Pour evenly across the cut surface of the stump as soon as possible but not later than a week after felling. A 100ml dose will treat up to 3 stumps of 10-15cm diameter.Note: Rootblast Concentrated Weedkiller will not cause tree stumps to degrade.Spray Application (Dilution Required):For spray application Rootblast Concentrated Weedkiller should be diluted with clean water. Pour the contents of the 100ml sachet into a garden sprayer and dilute to make 1 litre of spray. Spray the leave slightly until wet, but avoid run-off of the liquid. For best results apply from March to October when weeds are actively growing and have a large leaf area allowing plenty of weed killer to be absorbed. Effects may be seen within a few days, but full control can take up to 4 weeks. If it rains within 6 hours of application, then effectiveness may be reduced, and re-treatment is recommended. Very persistent weeds may require repeated treatments once new growth appears.After Use:Ensure that garden sprayers are thoroughly cleaned after application as traces of Rootblast Concentrated Weedkiller left in the equipment can damage or destroy plants sprayed later. WASH HANDS AFTER USE.

Dispose of unused product in its container at a household waste site (civic amenity site). Contact your local council (local authority) for details. Dispose of empty container in the dustbin. Protect from frost. To avoid risks to human health and the environment, comply with the instructions for use. Children and pets need not be excluded from treated areas when dry (not recommended for use on lawns).
