Propagator Kits provide the perfect environment to grow on plugs and seedlings before you plant them out into your garden. Simply water the pellets and plant your choice of seeds. The lid provides an evaporation/condensation chamber that cycles moisture back into the trays.
We recommend you keep the growing medium moist but not waterlogged at all times for maximum germination results.
When the seeds produce their first trusses take off the propagating lid and avoid frost.

Jiffy 7-C Coir Pellets are used by professional growers around the world, for an array of uses. They’re a cost-effective, clean rooting medium, well suited to the propagation of many crops.
Jiffy-7C pellets have been a best seller amongst professional growers and hydroponic growers, due to their condensed size. As with the rest of the Jiffy-7 range, the 7C is supplied in a dried compressed form.

How to use Jiffy-7 pellets:

1. Put the pellets in the seed/Cell tray.
2. Soak the pellets with lukewarm water and pour off any excess water.
3. Sow seeds or plant cuttings, and position the trays in a bright place.
4. Take care to avoid frost, and gradually expose the seedlings to the sun.
5. Never over-water them, or let them dry out.
6. When watering them, make sure to water thoroughly.

To protect the sensitive roots make sure to completely cover the Jiffy-7 pellet in the flower bed, or pot that you are using when planting them on.

Labelling

Several of the kits are also available with plastic stick-in labels and a Garden Artline Marker Pen. Keep your seedlings labelled and organised with ease. Like the seed trays and inserts, just clean and reuse them again for the next growing season.
