Peat pellets
These Jiffy-7 pellets are a best seller amongst professional growers and hydroponic growers due to how much less bulky Jiffy-7 pellets are than traditional potting soils. These pellets are made from sphagnum peat moss.
All pellets in the Jiffy-7 range are compressed for easy storage and transport. You only need to soak them in lukewarm water for them to expand to the size that you ordered.
Many growers who use these pots in hydroponic growing set-ups often say that some of their plants will start sprouting after 2 days when using Jiffy-7 pellets to propagate them. They have been proven through rigorous testing to provide the best germination rates possible for seedlings, cuttings and other small plants.
This range of Jiffy pellets are manufactured from peat carefully harvested from bogs which are subject to stringent controls to ensure minimal environmental impact.
Extra Deep Peat Pellets
Our range of genuine Jiffy 7 extra deep peat pellets are used by professional and amateur growers around the world for an array of applications. Jiffy is a clean, cost-effective rooting medium well suited to the propagation of many different crops. They are favoured by hydroponic growers and have been proven to have the best germination rates.
These extra deep pellets are easily re-hydrated, ready for use by hand, or during the normal irrigation cycle.
This range of Jiffy pellets are manufactured from peat carefully harvested from bogs which are subject to stringent controls to ensure minimal environmental impact.
Coir Pellets
The 7C range of Jiffy pellets is manufactured entirely from coir pith, a by-product of the coconut industry, the Jiffy 7C makes use of this abundant waste material, to create an environmentally friendly product. As the Jiffy-7C is a compressed product the environmental impact of shipping the finished product is greatly reduced.
As with the rest of the Jiffy-7 range, the 7C is supplied in a dried compressed form allowing the grower to store unused plugs until the next crop cycle without waste. Efficient storage is also a benefit as the Jiffy-7C occupies less than ¼ the space that other discrete plugs occupy.
Jiffy-7C pellets are some of the least bulky pellets available, and are held together with a fine netted mesh, ensuring optimal water and airflow to the seedling or cutting grown in the medium. After being soaked in lukewarm water they will expand to whichever size you ordered.
We are an authorised dealer for Jiffy Products. Always be aware of cheap imitations, as the results you will get from them when growing and propagating will not be the same as the genuine article.
