Lawn Sand & Moss Killer with Iron Sulphate | N.P.K: 4-0-0+3Fe
When to use:
Lawn Sand & Moss Killer can be used when moss is actively growing. Do not apply during drought or freezing conditions.
To avoid drift of granules or dust onto plants, patios or ponds do not apply in windy weather.
Apply only to established turf and lawns.
Grass should not be cut 3 days before treatment and not cut again until at least 4 days after treatment.
How to Use:
Application by hand:
Mark out the areas to treat. Wearing gloves, sprinkle evenly at 80 grams per square metre over the marked area by hand.
Application by spreader:
Mark out the areas to treat. Apply evenly at 80 grams per square metre over the marked area with a suitably calibrated granular applicator.
Contains 14.1 % w/w Iron Sulphate heptahydrate (equivalent to 7.7% iron sulphate anhydrous), for the control of moss on lawns.
If spilt on paving, concrete or clothes, brush off immediately to avoid discolouration.
New lawns – do not use this product on newly sown grass or turf within the first six months.
Re-seeding bare patches – can be done 4 weeks after applying the product.
Trees and Bulbs – The product can be used around trees in the lawn but avoid contact with the foliage. Wait until all bulb foliage has died down before applying to lawns with bulbs in.
Children and pets can use the treated areas once the product has been watered in. Grazing animals – keep off treated area for 4 weeks.
This is a professionally licensed product containing Iron Sulphate, MAPP no. 19672.
Smaller weights will be supplied with a black & white thermal label (with all relevant information detailed), applied to a polythene bag or re-sealable tub.
