How to:
The 'Appy' Gardener

Finding your gardening answers in a tap of a finger

Even experienced gardeners need a little help from time to time and more than ever before we are turning to the internet for solutions.

A few years ago, you would probably have Googled your gardening conundrum sat at your kitchen table in front of the laptop. Now you are more likely to be on your smartphone out in the garden or down on the allotment.

With a few taps of a screen you can be checking what that plant is that you forgot about at the back of the border, get hints on tips on reducing and removing pests or get a reminder on when to plant out or prune back.

Here are a few of our favourites:

RHS – Grow Your Own

The useful ‘My Tasks’ feature make it a must have for new and experienced gardeners alike. A firm favourite with the team in the Elixir Gardens office.
