Bumper Crop Sulphate of Potash
Sulphate of Potash (N.P.K 0-0-51 + 18S) is great for fertigation. It’s ideal where high potassium levels are required without additional nitrogen. Fruiting and flowering plants particularly benefit from increased potassium, producing brighter colours in flower blossoms and larger fruit yields. Crops strengthen and ripen, increasing yields and defending against disease. High potassium levels also help defend against harsh weather conditions such as drought and winter frost. Potash is perfect for a range of plants, trees and shrubs.Suitable for crops with a high sulphur demand, Sulphate of Potash has very low chloride content. It is highly soluble and dissolves very quickly. You’ll see the results from this fast-acting fertiliser quickly. Potash can be raked or hoed into the soil. Alternatively, use it as a top dressing (ensuring to water in) or dissolve to make an easy-to-use liquid feed for your plants and crops. It’s best applied in early Spring through to late Summer but can be used at any time of year as a potassium boost for your plants.If your plants and crops require a slower release of Potassium into the soil, try our Granular Sulphate of Potash which takes slightly longer to break down in the soil.Sulphate of Potash Applications:
- SOLUBLE APPLICATION: Dissolve 20g in 8 Litres of water. Stir the contents until the product has dissolved completely. Apply this to the soil surrounding the root system and spray liberally over the foliage. Reapply once a week over 3 weeks. Note: if applying on foliage, it is recommended not to apply if the temperature is above 30 degrees.
- DRY APPLICATION: Apply at the rate of 15g per square metre evenly over the soil. Water in well immediately after applying.
