Brown Tree Guards stand up to all weather conditions; making them the ideal low cost method for protecting young whips. Using a tree guard will shelter saplings from harsh wind and rain and will also defend the soft and delicate bark from sun rays. The strong 100% recycled PVC plastic is the perfect material for safeguarding young trees against animals such as rabbits or a wandering strimmer. It also provides a shield against any herbicide spraying. The spiral guards are easy to fit and will expand as the stem grows allowing for circulation through the air holes and enhancing tree growth.Guard Sizing:
We offer guards in 18″, 24″ and 30″ sizes, suitable for any size of variety of sapling. With a 38mm diameter they can support trees in various sizes and will not shrink, making them an excellent reinforcement for new tree plantations or young hedgerows.
