Bumper Crop Bulb Starter

Our Bumper Crop Bulb Starter gets bulbous flowers and plants off to the perfect start. The fine, granular mix boasts a huge variety of essential nutrients and minerals, ideal for the early stages of growth. A slow-release fertiliser, Bulb Starter is easy to mix with soil, compost or growing mediums. It’s ideal for use when planting bulbs but can also be used as a top dressing to give plants a boost during their development before flowering or fruiting.

Bulb Starter keeps your soil healthy and fertile. Healthy soil improves the robustness and well-being of plants. This results in faster growth, and larger harvests. Bulbous plants and flowers particularly love the added nutrient boost and improved soil structure and resulting hydration it provides. It’s perfect from bulbous flowers such as Tulips, Daffodils, Lilies, Iris, Crocus, Dahlias, Begonias and Hyacinths. Vegetables such as Onions, Garlic, Fennel and Leeks will benefit too.

Composition:

• Humic & Fulvic Acids – aid root growth and speed up plant metabolism.
• Amino Acids – encourage cell regeneration and growth.
• Volcanic Rock Dust – encourage growth of helpful soil bacteria.
• Gypsum – adds Calcium and clumps soil together, making loose, sandy soils easier to work with.
• Mycorrhizae – a crucial fungi that helps release all the soil’s nutrients, and helps plants use water during droughts.
• Zeolites – porous minerals that increase water and nutrient retention in the soil.
• Seaweed Meal – provides an array of additional micro-nutrients, minerals and vitamins to soil bacteria and plants.

Application Rate:

We’d recommend applying Bulb Starter at 100g/m2, to ensure that your soil gets the proper nutrition it needs to continue thriving. We recommend applying this during the summer when micro-organisms in the soil are most active. However, it can be applied just before planting to ensure that plants get the maximum benefit throughout summer.
