Some popular brands of slug pellet are too large for smaller slugs and juveniles to eat. Once consumed, the lentils work by blocking the slugs digestive system. Use 40 lentils or 0.6g of product per square metre. Scatter evenly onto moist bare soil around the plants to be protected. Take care to avoid pellets becoming trapped in leaves. DO NOT place in heaps. If slugs continue to cause damage a repeat treatment may be necessary up to a maximum of 5 per crop. Allow a minimum of 7 days between applications. Ultimate Slug Killer must not be applied near a water course. Apply a maximum of 5 times per season with an interval of a minimum of 7 days between applications. Suitable for use from February to November.Active Ingredients
Each lentil is packed with higher levels of protein (14%) made from 95% Elite Wheat; Max strength Ferric Phosphate (25g/kg) is evenly distributed inside the lentils matrix using a patented extrusion process. Chemical composition: 25 g/kg (2.5% w/w) anhydrous ferric phosphate present as 31 g/kg (3.1% w/w) hydrated ferric phosphate.
