Granular Sulphate of Potash/Potassium Sulphate
Granular Sulphate of Potash (N.P.K 0-0-51 + 18S) is great for fertigation. It’s ideal where high potassium levels are required without additional nitrogen. Fruiting and flowering plants particularly benefit from increased potassium, producing brighter colours in flower blossoms and larger fruit yields. Crops strengthen and ripen, increasing yields and defending against disease. High potassium levels also help defend against harsh weather conditions such as drought and winter frost. Potash is perfect for a range of plants, trees and shrubs.Suitable for crops with a high sulphur demand, Sulphate of Potash has very low chloride content. It is highly soluble and dissolves very quickly. You’ll see the results from this fast-acting fertiliser quickly. Potash can be raked or hoed into the soil. Alternatively, use it as a top dressing (ensuring to water in) or dissolve to make an easy-to-use liquid feed for your plants and crops. It’s best applied in early Spring through to late Summer but can be used at any time of year as a potassium boost for your plants. Unlike Soluble Sulphate of Potash, this granular fertilise takes slightly longer to break down in the soil, and so is more suitable for plants requiring a slower release of nutrients.Granular Sulphate of Potash Applications:
Apply at the rate of 30-50g per square metre (depending on crop demand). Ensure the surface is already damp. Spread evenly over the surface and rake into approximately 5cm of soil. Water in well immediately after spreading.Mineral Analysis:
