Fast-Acting Weed & Moss Killer
Elixir Gardens Fast-Acting Weed & Moss Killer is the herbicide of choice for amateurs and professionals alike. Our ready-to use formula quickly and effectively deals with weed foliage and flowers in just one spray application. Completely Glyphosate-free, Fast-Acting Weed & Moss Killer doesn’t require any protective clothing, mask or spraying license. Simply attach the hose and spray head provided and you’re ready to go. The 60 g/l Acetic Acid formulation rapidly goes to work on weed foliage and flowers causing them to wilt and die. You’ll see immediate results within the first 24 hours alone. It may be used to control weeds in a wide variety of situations, such as in unplanted areas of the garden, around buildings and in similar situations where weed control is required. Keep spray off vegetables, flowers, shrubs, and lawns.
When to Use
Fast-Acting Weed & Moss Killer is a non-selective weed killer active against most soft plant tissue with which it comes into contact. Weeds are controlled by covering their foliage completely and evenly with spray. After spraying, the foliage of treated weeds begins to wither and die, effects become visible within 24 hours. Plant roots are not killed, and new foliage may grow, particularly from the roots of perennial weeds. Annual weeds with small roots die back completely but re-treatment will usually be necessary, especially to keep down perennial weeds.Use Fast-Acting Weed & Moss Killer to achieve control of weeds. Best results are achieved when treatment is to small weeds less than 10cm high. Ideally spray in spring and repeat as necessary over the growing season, up to a maximum of 6 applications per year with a minimum of 7 days between applications.How to Use
Affix the hose lock trigger to the bottle, ensure the trigger cap is tight onto the bottle, rotate the nozzle end anti clockwise to open, then clockwise to close after use. The hose can then remain attached to the bottle. Spray the foliage of the weeds completely and evenly until the leaves and stems are fully wetted but avoid spray run off from the leaves (no more than 100ml/m2). Repeat after 14 days against surviving weeds, if necessary, or when fresh growth is seen but ensure there is a minimum of 7 days between treatments and no more than 6 treatments are permitted per year.Apply Fast-Acting Weed & Moss Killer on a dry day when rain is not expected within 6 hours of treatment. Rain after spraying may wash spray from the leaves and lead to a poor result. After spraying keep people and animals off dense patches of weeds until the spray has dried, often just 15-20 minutes. However, this is not necessary for treated areas containing only occasional, low, or prostrate weeds such as may be found on pathways.Use of Fast-Acting Weed & Moss Killer may cause some surfaces to become slippery for a short time after spraying. There are no residual effects of Fast Acting Weedkiller in the soil. Sowing or planting may be undertaken as soon as the weeds have died.Where to Use
