Optionally you can also get a half size lid to fit the tray, which will aid in keeping water in the tray. Making germination in growing plants faster, and more successful. The addition of a lid can also be handy to help acclimate indoors plants to the outside, if exposed slowly to air and temperature conditions of the outside. Keep in mind that when using a lid, it should always be removed when plants reach germination. Alternatively in areas where humidity is less than 50% it can be used help improve airflow if the lid is propped open a bit at the bottom. Each of our lids measures 236mm long x 181mm wide x 68mm deep. A bit larger than the trays in order to allow easier access to remove the lid when necessary, whilst still keeping the contents of the tray safe.Half Size Cell Packs
Our Half size cell packs are ideal for use with our half size seed or gravel trays, to provide extra support and protection to plants that are grown inside an insert. Each of our half size cell packs will fit snugly into a half size tray, and come in varieties of: 4, 6, 9, 12 and 20 cells. See table below for list of cell sizes for each insert.They are made from a re-usable plastic that is durable enough to be used in the greenhouse, outhouse or garden.
