- Repairing/laying down lawns – Perlite gives additional aeration and drainage when raked into spiked holes.

- A natural, pH neutral and sterile growing medium derived from volcanic rock.
- Application Rates: Use 1/3 to 1/2 vermiculite in your potting soil for containers or when building your raised beds.

Perlite (Grade 1mm – 6mm)
Perlite is specifically made for horticulture. It will never rot or degrade and can be recycled and used again and again. It is pH neutral, and ready to use. Perlite acts as a natural filtration system, allowing excess water to easily drain away while retaining a little moisture and holding the nutrients the plants need to grow. This makes it perfect for Cacti and Succulents and any plants that need their soil / compost to dry out between watering.Application Rates:
Create a 5% to 40% perlite mix when using with compost, peat moss or coir. Can be used at 75% to 100% mix when used for hydroponics or green roofs.Please Note:
