Product Description
Calcified seaweed is a natural, organic conditioner for soils and lawns. Made from seaweed calcium and sea shells, it helps break down heavy soils. It also encourages the development of beneficial micro-organisms. Its effect is to neutralise acid and improve the soil structure which helps plants to develop stronger root systems. As a result, you’re left with healthier plants with more vigorous growth. As the product is rich in minerals, it can also be used as a lawn dressing early in spring. Once applied to soil, the seaweed quickly breaks down and gradually releases calcium, magnesium carbonate and other trace elements. Calcified Seaweed will last in the soil for a longer period than ground lime. Therefore, it has a prolonged effect on the soil’s PH.

Application Rates:

General: 75g per square metre. 500g of seaweed is enough to cover approximately 6.5m² of soil. A full 25kg bag covers approximately 325m²
