Easier to prepare than hanging baskets, these durable pouches are perfect for decorating your garden. They’ll add a splash of colour to any balcony, patio or porch. They can be used for a variety of different flowers. Fill with busy lizzies, fuchsias, petunias or trailing geraniums in the summer. Then try pretty pansies in the autumn. These pouches are also ideal for growing fresh strawberries and tomatoes too. Made from hard wearing polyethylene, they can be reused many times, complete with 10 pre-cut planting slits.Tips for planting…
- Fill the Hanging Flower Bags with potting compost up to the first layer of slits making sure to press into the corners.
- Through the first slits place well-rooted plants. Add more compost up to the next layer of slits.
- Continue to fill the pouch with plants whilst pushing the compost down to keep the plants firmly in place.
- Leave 1″ at the top to help with watering. Place a last plant at the top of the bag.
- Water well and lay on a flat surface for a few days to allow the plants to settle.
